Andrée Putman for L'AMY Vintage Sunglasses Made in France New Unworn Deadstock

Made in France in the 1980s.

Frame and lenses are in perfect condition, all inner temple markings intact.

This frame is a piece of art. Created by famous french interior designer Andrée Putman, it reduces the frame geometry to the bare minimum, creating a mask that is both striking and sober.

The natural intuition of Andrée Putman lead her to reveal many talented designers such as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Issey Miyake, Ossie Clark, Claude Montana and Thierry Mugler. In the 1980s, Andrée led more and more interior design projects: hotels such as Le Lac in Japan, Im Wasserturm in Germany and the Sheraton in Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. As well as stores for Azzedine Alaia, Balenciaga, Bally and Lagerfeld, and offices, particularly the one for French Minister of Culture Jack Lang in 1984.

Frame: Black and white.

Lens: Dark gray with 100% UV400 Protection.
