The mother of all aviator frames, the Outdoorsman was created by Bausch & Lomb in 1939 and is still the most popular and iconic aviator ever produced. Acetate reinforced sweat-bar, making it even more comfortable to wear. Tortoise decor on gold metal. BL logo on nosepads.

This very rare Tortuga edition features original Bausch & Lomb Ambermatic™ crystal lenses with 100% UV400 protection and BL watermarks:

- On overcast days, Ambermatic™ lenses are lightly tinted and amber colored to cut through haze and sharpen vision.
- On sunny, warm days they turn to sunglass brown to block glare.
- On sunny, cold days they change to dark gray for superior protection from direct and reflected glare.
- On cloudy, marginally bright days they're lighter brown - just right for the light.
