Alpina M1/8 24K Gold Vintage Sunglasses West Germany New Old Stock
Made in West Germany in the 1980s
Including original Alpina box, leaflet and flip-open car case, push the middle button and the case automatically flips open. Self-adhesive stickers on the bottom of the case.
Undoubtedly the rarest of all M1 versions, the extremely limited M1/8 is rumored to have been gifted to regional Alpina distributors in the mid 1980s as a reward for exceptional sales, and was never available for retail to the public.
One of the greatest classics ever manufactured, this M1/8 in pristine unworn condition is the pinnacle of Alpina's exceptional design and craftsmanship in their golden era. The gold temples are polished at the front and matte at the ends, a perfect combination. Back of nosebridge engraved "ALPINA M1 MADE IN W.GERMANY". The M1, as worn by Stevie Wonder, Sonny Crockett (Miami Vice), Rick Ross or Kanye West, is probably the most coveted vintage frame of the last 20 years.
24k gold plated front plate and screws. Frame and lenses are in new unworn deadstock condition (New Old Stock), all inner temple markings intact and flawless.
Size 65*14 (Large)
Frame: 24k gold plated front plate and screws with hand painted orange and brown camo decor, matte gold aluminium frame and temples.
